Alpharetta, Georgia

About Alpharetta

Formerly a small farming town, the city of Alpharetta is recognized as one of the fastest growing cities in the country, and one of the hottest markets in Georgia for both residents and businesses. With its outstanding quality of life, diverse range of exceptional residential neighborhoods from swim and tennis communities to urban lofts, and its close proximity to GA 400 and Atlanta, it is not surprising that Alpharetta real estate is in high demand. And, with numerous corporations such as Siemens, IBM, Nortel, Nokia and many more relocating to the area, it has become the ideal location to live and work only a few miles apart.

The city of Alpharetta is located approximately 30 miles from downtown Atlanta, and is a short drive to Milton, Roswell, Dunwoody and Johns Creek. Known for its excellent schools, cultural events and abundant green space, Alpharetta is also home to the new Avalon shopping center, an abundance of casual and fine restaurants, and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, which hosts numerous concerts and other events throughout the year. For outdoor enthusiasts, Wills Park, a large local recreational center, offers numerous activities for residents. As does Lake Lanier and the North Georgia Mountains as well as Cherokee County and Forsyth County, which are all only a short drive away.
